On behalf of the Race and Gender Equity (RAGE) Project, we are excited you are here to experience a visual and physical representation of the rest we hope for you.
We get it! Social impact work is demanding. We understand the challenges inherent in justice-driven work and commit to helping you prioritize your individual and collective well-being. We also acknowledge that folks with historically, systemically and intentionally marginalized identities are often denied access to rest. Many of us have been taught we must work half as hard to get half as far, and we may sacrifice ourselves to help or care for others.
We invite you to hold and explore the tension between your desire to fulfill your ambitious visions of making the world a better place, and the fatigue that comes along with this valuable work. We invite you to unpack and unlearn the harmful narratives that keep you grinding. We invite you to slow down.
RAGE Project creates spaces that create change. We believe that self care is essential, squad care is imperative, and a complete shifting of our systems is necessary to create long-lasting transformative change. We curate spaces to nurture healing and provide rest, empowering you to continue your service with renewed energy and strength.
